Announced :2026-09-07
① These Platform Policies supplement the hourplace.co Terms of Service by setting out specific operational rules governing reservations, usage restrictions, content management, and related matters for Members of hourplace.co.
② Terms used in these Platform Policies have the same meanings as in the Terms of Service. In the event of a conflict between these Platform Policies and the Terms of Service, the Terms of Service prevails.
③ These Platform Policies apply exclusively to hourplace.co (global site) and do not apply to hourplace.co.kr (Korean domestic site).
① Guest Members may book Spaces through the Service. Upon booking confirmation, the Guest Member obtains a temporary right to use the Space for the specified period. Before submitting a booking request, Guest Members must carefully review the Space's usage conditions and details. The Guest Member bears all responsibility for loss or damage arising from failure to do so.
② Advance Payment Bookings For Spaces offered under the Advance Payment Booking model:
③ Cancellation and Refund Standards
For the purpose of this cancellation policy, the number of days before the scheduled usage date is counted by calendar date — not by elapsed hours (e.g., not a 72-hour period). The applicable date is determined in Korea Standard Time (KST). "Host response window" means 24 hours from the booking request, or the booking's scheduled start time, whichever is earlier.
④ Issues arising during the booking process or Space use must be reported to the Company on the day of use. If the issue is accepted, a refund may be issued. Approved refunds are generally processed within 5–10 business days, depending on the card issuer. Refunds are not available for complaints based solely on a change of mind or failure to check the Space's listed conditions prior to booking.
⑤ Grounds for Refund on Day of Use A refund request on the day of use may be accepted for the following reasons:
⑥ Where the Space cannot be used normally based on information provided and verified by the Company, the Company bears responsibility. Where the discrepancy arises from changed circumstances or could not reasonably have been identified by the Company in advance, the Host Member bears responsibility.
⑦ Guest Rules During Space Use Guest Members must comply with the following rules. Violations may result in additional payments or liability:
⑧ Transactions not conducted through the hourplace.co platform are not subject to these Terms or these Platform Policies. The Company provides no customer support for such transactions, and all responsibility lies with the parties involved.
① Host Members may register Add-On Rental Items (such as lighting equipment, props, or accessories) for each Space. Host Members must accurately set the item name, quantity, description, and usage fee (or indicate if complimentary) for each item.
② Guest Members may select available Add-On Rental Items at the time of booking. Paid items are added to the Space Usage Fee and charged together. Add-On Rental Items are billed as part of the main booking and are not subject to partial billing or partial cancellation.
③ Once a booking is confirmed, the selected Add-On Rental Items are also confirmed. Subsequent unilateral changes or failure to provide confirmed items may constitute a violation of the Terms of Service and these Platform Policies.
④ Host Members may not charge on-site fees for items not registered as Add-On Rental Items, nor may they unilaterally provide items not selected by the Guest Member.
⑤ Guest Members have the right to use selected Add-On Rental Items as listed. In the event of damage, loss, or other incident during use, liability is assessed pursuant to Guest Terms Article G5 and these Platform Policies.
⑥ The Company may restrict, require modification of, or delete Add-On Rental Items in the following cases:
⑦ If a booking is canceled, selected Add-On Rental Items are canceled together. Refunds follow the same policy as the Space booking cancellation (Art. 2 ③). Partial refunds for individual items are not available.
① The Company may restrict, deactivate, or modify accounts and content pursuant to the Terms of Service and these Platform Policies. Where necessary, the Company may modify or delete Posts without prior notice.
② Grounds for Guest Member Usage Restriction
③ Grounds for Message Restriction The Company may hide or delete messages and restrict Service use if the messaging function is misused, including:
④ Space Listing Restriction Grounds (Applied to Host-Side Listings) Where a Space listing linked to hourplace.co fails to meet basic requirements, the Company may request modification, restrict visibility, or remove the listing, including where:
① The Company manages Posts to ensure safe and compliant operation of the Service. The Company may take action against Posts that violate this policy, including deletion or account deactivation.
② Post Deletion and Restriction Criteria The Company may hide or delete Posts and, if necessary, restrict Service use in the following cases:
③ The Company may delete Posts found to violate the above criteria. In serious cases, all Posts may be deleted or the Space listing or account may be deactivated. Members may report problematic Posts through the in-service reporting function. The Company will review reported Posts according to internal standards and take appropriate action. Detailed reasons and supporting information provided at the time of reporting expedite the process.
① The Company recognizes that reviews are an important means of building trust on the hourplace platform. The Company manages the review system to enable honest, transparent feedback between Host Members and Guest Members.
② Reviews may only be submitted for completed bookings. Reviews must be submitted within 60 days of the end of the booking.
③ Guest Members may submit reviews of Host Members' Spaces; Host Members may submit reviews of Guest Members.
④ Once submitted, reviews cannot be edited or deleted by the reviewer. The Company may exceptionally delete a review where it is clear that the review violates these Platform Policies or contains demonstrably false statements.
⑤ Review text is mandatory. Reviews must contain a minimum of 10 characters and a maximum of 5,000 characters.
⑥ Review Deletion Criteria The Company does not pre-screen reviews and encourages honest feedback. However, following internal review, a review may be deleted in the following cases:
⑦ Members who identify a review that violates the above criteria may report it through the in-service reporting function. Reported reviews are reviewed according to internal standards and actioned accordingly. Detailed reasons and supporting evidence expedite processing.
⑧ Review Dispute Standards The Company applies the following standards when assessing the factual basis of a disputed review and determining what action to take:
⑨ Review Translation Reviews written by global Guest Members in English will be displayed in their original language. The Company may provide machine-translated versions of reviews to assist Host Members and other users in understanding the content. Translation is provided for reference only and does not constitute an official interpretation of the review. If a Member believes a translation is inaccurate, they may report the issue through the in-service translation report function.
